Our latest project is now live! Yes, we’ve updated our own website as it’s been well over a year since our last makeover.
My Computer Guy utilises WordPress, our favourite Content Management System, for our own website, incorporating some very useful plugins available from the WordPress Plugin Repository.
Project Overview:
This custom design will showcase some of the options available in the new version of WordPress and also some of the techniques available with javascript libraries like jQuery and Mootools. We’ve incorporated some custom templates for many of the pages with jQuery being used extensively throughout the site.
The colour switcher, whilst not essential, was included for a bit of interest. This idea could be used for sites targeted for the vision impaired to provide high contrast designs for legibility with a simple mouse click.
